Yank in Ulster goes native: welcome Mr Ulster

Yank in Ulster has gone native. After near 15 years, he reckons that Norn Iron is his home. He married a local girl, got an Irish passport (the Brits too awkward for one of theirs), worked for the Linen Hall Library and the Ulster Historical Foundation. Heck, he even ran for election to Belfast City Council.

So, while it’s fun at perennial USA elections to be a resident “expert”, I’ve put my lot in to make Northern Ireland a better place. I’ve made Ulster my home, and wish to thank all of you for your continuing friendship along this journey.

PS. To test how well you really know me, bonus points for the inspiration for Mr Ulster’s character above!
