Belleville Rendez-vous

Went to see the film “Belleville Rendez-vous” at the QFT’s temporary facilities, the Ashby Building on Stranmillis Road. The film was a French animation. Very ingenious, with a strange but entertaining plot: a story of a young boy who aspires to be a Tour de France competitor, only to be kidnapped during the race by mobsters. His grandmother follows his abduction to New York and ultimately frees him from his captures.

Afterwards, we went to the Indie Spice Café for a delicious meal. Madame Oui said that it was the best korma she has ever had, and it was indeed excellent. We are going to try to get her parents to give it a go.
