Regressed to half my age in going to an evening concert of Nouvelle Vague at the Empire Music Hall, Belfast. After a questionable opening act with an original performer of Nouvelle Vague, the band proper was a good show. Highlights were redentions of “Human Fly” (buzz, buzz, buzz), “Love Will Tear Us Apart”, and “Teenage Kicks”. Afterwards, I went up to the stage and collected a song sheet (see attached). I was surprised the sheets were still there, i.e. my great friend Keith Lyle taught me the thrill of collecting these after live shows.
